Loaders, dependencies, RAM flags, port forwarding — modded servers have a hundred ways to eat your evening. Pick your loader or pack, and we handle every one of them.

CAM_01 · REC Hardware and tooling tuned specifically for Minecraft — not a generic VPS with a wiki page bolted on.
Every server runs in its own isolated container with the RAM and CPU of your plan reserved up front — a busy neighbor can never eat your ticks.
Snapshot your whole world in one click, stored off-server. Creeper took the base? Roll back just as fast.
Try it — hit install. Or see how modpack hosting works.
Console, backups, files, mods, sharing — all where your least technical friend can find them. Invite co-owners as operators or viewers.
Keep up to five saves on a single plan — survival, skyblock, a modded run — each with its own version, mods, and settings. Switch in one click; your join address never changes.
Turn on crossplay (Paper, Fabric, NeoForge) and friends on PC, console, and phone all spawn in the same world.
Minecraft runs your whole world on a single CPU core — per-core speed sets your TPS, not core count. Our Zen 4 Ryzen 7 7700 lands within 5% of AMD's Zen 4 flagship on that core and well ahead of the Zen 3 chips many hosts still sell, with every world on NVMe so chunks load as fast as you fly.
Yes, the newest 9950X is ~15% faster per core — we chart it anyway. Real numbers over marketing.
Forge, Fabric and NeoForge servers spin up preconfigured — the right loader version for your Minecraft version, no installer jars, no mismatched libraries.
Search Modrinth inside your dashboard, hit Add, and save. Required dependencies come along automatically, so a mod never boots broken.
Guaranteed memory on high-clock Ryzen cores with NVMe storage. Upgrade tiers any time when your pack outgrows its plan — no migration, one restart.
Your server gets a public address the moment it's created. Send it to your Discord and you're playing — router settings never enter the picture.
Choose Forge, Fabric, NeoForge — or a whole Modrinth modpack — in the create form.
Search Modrinth from the Mods tab and stage what you want. Dependencies resolve themselves.
Copy the server address, drop it in Discord, and you're mining modded within the minute.
A mod loader is the layer that lets mods hook into Minecraft, and every mod is built for one of them. Your server must run the loader your mods (or your pack) were written for; there is no mixing. The good news: if you start from a modpack, the pack decides, and a one-click install picks the right loader automatically. If you are hand-picking mods, this table is the decision.
| Loader | Best for | Versions | Typical packs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forge | The deepest legacy catalog: big content and tech mods, most older packs | Dominant up to 1.20.1 | Better MC, RLCraft, DawnCraft, Pixelmon, SkyFactory 4, Vault Hunters |
| NeoForge | Forge's modern successor: the same kind of big mods on current Minecraft | 1.20.2 and newer, standard for 1.21+ | All the Mods 10 and most new heavyweight packs |
| Fabric | Lightweight, fast to update, the home of performance mods | Day-one support for new versions | Cobblemon, Prominence II, Create: Astral |
| Paper (not a loader) | Server-side plugins with vanilla clients; players install nothing | Tracks current vanilla | Plugin suites, not modpacks |
RAM is the number that decides whether a modded server feels smooth in month two, not day one. Mods and loaded chunks both live in memory, so the honest sizing follows mod count and how much of the world your group keeps loaded. Size for the pack you will actually run, then upgrade when bases grow; on SpawnFort a plan change is one click and your world comes along.
| Setup | Mods | Plan for | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vanilla + performance mods | Under 20 | 2 to 4 GB | Fabric with Lithium/FerriteCore, small friend groups |
| Light curated set | 20 to 60 | 4 GB | Cobblemon, a hand-picked Fabric or Forge list |
| Mid-weight pack | 60 to 150 | 4 to 6 GB | Better MC, SkyFactory 4, Create: Astral, RLCraft |
| Kitchen sink / heavy RPG | 200 to 400+ | 8 GB and up | All the Mods 10, DawnCraft, Prominence II |
A modpack is a curated, tested set with its own configs and a launcher profile your friends install in one click; it is the right default for nearly every group, because compatibility work is done for you. Hand-picking mods is for when you know the exact twenty you want: more control, more dependency chasing, and you become the person who fixes the crash on Sunday night.
On SpawnFort both routes are one-click: pick a Modrinth or CurseForge pack at creation, or pick a bare loader and add mods from the Mods tab (required dependencies come along automatically).
Modded worlds die of neglect more than of bugs. Four habits keep them alive for the long run:
Light mod sets run fine on 4 GB. Big kitchen-sink packs (150+ mods) want 8 GB or more. Start smaller — upgrading a plan is one click and one restart, and your world comes with you.
Forge, Fabric and NeoForge for mods, plus Paper for plugins. Modrinth modpacks install their own loader automatically, so a pack is always the right setup by definition.
From the Mods tab in your dashboard: search Modrinth, click Add, then Save & apply. The server restarts briefly and comes back with your mods (and their required dependencies) installed.
Worlds carry across restarts and version changes, but a mod loader is chosen at creation. The clean route is a new modded server — and because billing is per-server, you can spin one up, test your mods, and delete the old one when you're happy.
